Start with a conversation
Call the practice to explain what you would like to explore. The team can discuss the evaluation, payment, and appointment arrangements.
What to expect
From the first conversation to your completed evaluation, here’s how the process comes together.
Call the practice to explain what you would like to explore. The team can discuss the evaluation, payment, and appointment arrangements.
The team will explain which records and intake information are needed. Your concerns, experiences, and clinical history provide the starting point.
Assessment is shaped around your needs. Ask the office about the sessions and time needed for your particular evaluation.
A feedback conversation and completed written evaluation help you understand the findings, the factors behind them, and individualized recommendations for treatment and support.
Before your visit
The office will explain the timing and preparation that apply to your appointment.
The office will explain what is needed for your appointment. Relevant materials may include your insurance card, previous evaluations, applicable health records, and an IEP or 504 plan. Bring any eyeglasses you use for testing.
Talk with our team about time-sensitive care. Your completed evaluation can be ready in as few as three business days after your in-person appointment, for an additional fee. The office will discuss availability, cost, and whether this fits your evaluation. This is the delivery timeline, not a promise of an appointment within three days.
We accept MaineCare. Financing options include Affirm, CareCredit, Klarna, and Sunbit. The office can help you discuss coverage, costs, and the available payment options for your evaluation.
Your next step
Expanded availability is coming in November. Call to check current openings and ask about payment and time-sensitive options.
